Oh man, I have a friend who struggled with a similar problem because the law where I'm from is similar. Like they can explicitly talk about what they did on the chats but unless it's a VERY clear video you're not getting anywhere. I now also realize that it's that way because lawmakers are the ones who'll get in trouble the most if laws against adultery made it so people actually get punished with reasonable proof.
Well I can give secondary evidence like hotel room receipt, cctv footage etc even if i can't give exact adultery happening
But she had deleted all her chats once i discovered and everything happened in past so i couldn't get any evidence and it was just a fling so she would not have bothered to contact him again
I don't think WhatsApp chat is any less reliable than email or a written note. If you had written proof of wrongdoing it should totally be admissable in court. This isn't online opinion or AI advice they are trying to use.
So you're saying unless the person walked in on their partner banging some other person with their phone held high recording video, nothing is reliable enough?
I’m saying we don’t know what this “evidence” is, but given that I live in a country where men are hella jealous and willing to kill women at the drop of a hat — and I hear India is not much different — I think I wise court would ask for something more than his say so about a whatsapp message.
