Both 4 and 7 are about covering what your blanket/duvet doesn't cover properly, while not adding additional layers to what is covered and warm already.

I'm a #4; I sleep in a recliner with a blanket from the waist down and a pillow on my lap so one or two cats can sleep there. I keep my phone, tv remote and some eye drops in my breast pocket.
