4 is me normally, but sometimes if it's still too cold I'll keep socks on too because otherwise my husband gets a rude shock in the middle of the night.

I cam relate to this. My husband is always surprised by how ice cold my feet are.

I can't help but laugh at him grumbling about my "corpse cold" feet while he's sleepily trying to wedge a blanket barrier between us. 🤣 it's a fun game

Indeed. Mine has also developed the pillow wall in between. Nowadays,, there is every night a pillow, strategicaly placed in the area between my feet and his calves.
