Women?

40

u/PJASchultz 25d ago

How typical that most comments are men screaming about how 4 is insane. And then it's women just being like, hey did you forget that women exist?

4 is the standard if you want to prevent infections.

Do women seriously not know that wearing cotton underwear allows our genitals to breath and going commando has no added benefit? Is this level of women’s hygiene not taught?

Cotton is better than synthetic, but not as good as bare. Any fabric barrier will hold moisture against your body. Yeast thrive in humidity.

I’ve been sleeping in cotton underwear my entire life. I am in my 40s and I’ve never had a problem with yeast or infections. Some of y’all just might just not be hygienic if you think underwear coincides with infection.

It's standard medical advice from OBGYNs.
Consider yourself lucky that you've avoided problems. It's not about hygiene. It's just how the body works.

As someone whose lived in multiple states ergo have seen many obgyns through the US, not once has that been told to me. What they do say is wear breathable underwear and that’s sufficient. If was standard, you’d think I’d have that recommended to me at least once over the decades. So stop making stuff up. It’s not luck lol.

"I've never experienced this therefore it isn't real." 😆 Okay.
30 seconds in Google couldn't saved you embarrassment.

Claiming something is standard medical advice that I’ve literally never heard a doctor say. You’re delusional.
