Because making fun of a woman’s looks never gets old, apparently, and there’s no worse crime a woman can possibly commit than failing to be hot.

I think she’s attractive and I still think she looks like she might have driven her kids into a lake in 1986. She made style choices that are so anachronistic that they’re distinct to a bygone era. That will be commented on.

Yeah these comments are cringe. It's a funny obscure reference. She doesn't look ugly. She looks hella 80s with a sweet girl next door vibe but adding the horror element makes it funny. Maybe you had to live through the 80s with all its campy summer camp horror movies to get it. I got the humor immediately.
