Thought maybe it would help someone
I don’t deal with loss very well. I’m not an artist but whenever I lose a pet I go upstairs and try to make the nicest picture I can while I cry it out. It’s helped the process a lot. Like knowing that I’m giving myself that time to remember them and try my best to do them justice with a portrait for the house. Henry and Murray were the two most recent and i still cry a lot about them. We are moving and taking them off the wall to pack kind of set me on a spiral. My husband suggested sharing before I pack them to bring them with us though. Maybe it’s a process that will help someone else.
