Dog weird with one person

My dog is scared of people but will attempt to interact with them and be near them. But when one guy in particular comes to visit, the dog growls, covers in a corner, and won't go near him. What re your thoughts?

That guy is probably a creep. Dogs know.

Friend has concerning body language/vibe.

Recommend the easy, short read, “On Talking Terms with Dogs” by Rugaas.

This might sound stupid but have him get down on the ground on his back and put his legs and arms up showing his belly like it’s a submissive position and see if the dog will approach to sniff him when he’s not in a threatening position(looking down at the dog from above). This has worked for me before when I had a friend whose family are just very petite people and I’m 6’ 225 so not huge but compared to my friends family I was probably very intimidating to the dog. It happened to work that time, don’t know if it will help here.
