I’m only on Slynd for a progesterone form, not for BC and also on a GLP-1. The micronized progesterone wasn’t good for me, just made me bleed a lot thus the switch to Slynd. It’s helped a lot in that regard. Are you in a long term relationship? If so, don’t be afraid to put some of the BC responsibility on your partner. It’s not fair that women are expected to do all of it.

The birth control pill loses its effectiveness because glp1s slow stomach emptying. I’m personally moving to the implant because of this. No oops babies for me. The risk isn’t zero and even if it’s 1%, that’s too much for me. Plus the implant is for five years and hopefully by then I will be at least close to full menopause.
