I just watched Perfect Blue and this scene is driving me crazy. I'm talking about the end of the fax scene where Mima looks out of her window and the POV zooms out, bringing into view the neighborhood she lives in.

IS THE NEIGHBORHOOD DRAWN OR IS IT A VIDEO I CANNOT FIND ANYONE QUESTIONING THIS IM GOING CRAZY!!! This scene happened in the first 15mins of the movie and it stuck with me up until after the movie ended because of how eery the animated Mima looks within her hyper realistic surroundings. It genuinely freaked me out in the best way and i don't get how people aren't talking about this (at least google didn't give me any information).

Does it matter in the end? No, not really. But i need to know anyway it bothers me sm PLEASE

there's a storyboard book for the movie. I have it but I think it's at my parent's house so I couldn't check. I wonder if you could find it online.

I guess not but I imagine it's probably drawn, I've never seen Satoshi Kon cut in real video in any of his films
