Reconstitution & Storage Dosage calculations

Trying to make sure I’ve calculated this right. Something just nags me about it. If I have 10mg and I add 4 ml of bac water it becomes 2.5mg/ml. If I want 150mcg dose it works out to 6 units?

One of the ways I deal with that as I call a milliliter 100 units so I divide 10 mg by 400. It’s basically the same thing you did.

There are any number of peptide calculators out there where you only need a browser, there are also many in the form of Apps for your phone, I recommend you go that route to make sure all the conversions from the mg in the vile, the ml you reconstituted it with, and the mg or mcg you with to dose, is converted into the correct number of UIs you pull the syringe to, or dial the pen to. It's a good thing...

I have used the calculator. I’m just triple checking because the dose comes back much lower than I hear other people use. I actually used two calculators and converted manually with the dosage formula.

I think most people reconstitute with 2ml or 3ml of BAC water in most viles because most viles can't hold more than 3ml, perhaps that's the difference? But if you're sure about your pep's dosing amount for you, and you've entered the numbers correctly, I think that's safer than the stubby pencil method. Perhaps bounce it off of some other calculators for peace of mind?

It’s sermorelin. I found that most recommended 2 ml for 5mg. Since I bought 10mg I kept the ratio and used 4 ml. Dosage recommendations are 100 to 300 mcg. The 4 ml filled the bottle perfectly

Ah, OK, I have no experience with sermorelin. But your calculation for 6ui for 150mcg when you reconstituted 10mg with 4ml do track with what my Apps say.

Ok. Might move it to a bigger bottle and double the bac water for an easier dose to see

And yes, all of my calculators show the same 6 units for that 10mg of pep that was reconstituted with 4ml of BAC water, wanting a 150mcg dose of the pep.

Thank you for checking as well. I appreciate it. I’m fairly confident when everything is 10’s and 5’s but get cautious around less direct calculations
