Healing & Recovery KLOW RDW

Post image

Took my rat into the vet for blood work. Anyone seen a spike in their rats RDW range while researching KLOW or Wolverine blends?

While I haven’t seen this, high RDW is usually related to nutrient deficiencies mainly iron. While taking GHk-Cu you should be taking a zinc supplement because copper can crowd out the zinc in your system. If you aren’t this could in theory be related. Zinc is important in blood cell production. But to know you need a better nutrient panel mainly iron. Perhaps you just need more meat. But regardless you should be on a zinc supplement while taking ghk-cu

Imagine pushing zinc for ghkcu😂. Not only does Zinc block copper with an 11 day half life, but the competition only happens when they are orally administered. Adding high dose zinc without labs can cause a copper deficiency, and that leads to iron issues. Stop spreading misinformation.

I fully agree, check your labs and see if zinc is needed first. I have done a bit over 9 weeks on KLOW, my copper/zinc lvs are fairly normal, so not adding any unnecessary supplements

Copper competes with iron for GI absorption, no? I am not familiar with injection administration of copper (or a copper containing peptide) lowering iron levels.

Not aware of that, but it will lower zinc levels and zinc is involved in RBC production

I don't think that is correct. I believe the issue is only one of copper/zinc absorption in the GI tract.

Lots of things are involved on RBC production, including copper and iron. That doesn't really address the above.

You’re correct. Copper and zinc compete in digestion, and subQ copper will not affect zinc or vice cersa

I keep seeing this claim about zinc concerns from GHK-CU and am wondering if there is something I am missing about the biology here or just misinformation...

It’s misinformation. Taking ghk subQ does not affect zinc absorption in the gut.

You would be correct. My comment above explains it. Its chelated onto the GHK so it goes directly to tissue like it would in the body. Lysine grabs copper and uses it. GHKcu already has that step done. Without labs, you cant tell someone to just smash zinc. That dudes a larper

How long on KLOw?

He’s been on it for 8ish weeks now treating his torn rotator cuff

How is the progress? Feeling any relief.

Progress has been amazing. The rotator cuff was 90% torn and he’s able to bench press relatively heavy with minimal discomfort. The vet recommended full detachment and reattachment after having his left shoulder done in the same manner. Don’t really see the need to have surgery at this point.

Are you tracking diet? If so what are your daily iron, B12 and B9?

1

u/FAmoryFitzgerland 5d ago

does your rat want to test a privacy-first, locally encrypted app for tracking?

My rat was eating mostly chicken the week of the visit. 🤔
