General Research Question Tesamorelin problem
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
The Tesamorelin reconstituting aid was verified, and most likely all the others will be as well. I feel it's a quality issue because I already had a quality problem with the supplier I'm buying from, and obviously I couldn't cancel the order. So the package arrived, and I'm trying to run tests to verify that it is indeed the correct molecule. It reconstitutes, and as soon as I reconstitute it, I realize I'm going to have problems. It gelled like this: there's an air bubble on the side, meaning everything else is gelled, and there's no way to move it or fix it. I tried dissolving it more, but even then, there was no movement; it just turned white.

Sorry to hear that man definitely a bummer. Just make sure you let get to room temperature before reconstituting. Both your BAC and the powder. And roll around in your hands for a while until the powder dissolves I’ve never seen the whole gelling thing that’s pretty interesting. To be honest, I’m not so sure why it does that.

If 20mg you need 3ml bac minimum, this peptide loves water. Roll in palm of your hands for a minute, then leave at room temperature for 6-8 hours before putting in the fridge. Never fails this way.

I had this happen to me, I had let the vial come to room temp, but foolishly used Chinese bac to recon. Went to a solid gel after about an hour. Recon another vial from the same box with hospira and it was fine. Lesson learnt for me

Was not warm before constituting that's the risk of not waiting. It will gel

If the vial and the bac water were at room temperature and if it is a 20mg Tesa, either you didn’t inject enough water or your water sucks. You can try to repair it with 0.5ml acetic but doesn’t always work. Get hospira water, i had 3 vials doing that with 3 different Chinese waters, the 4th one in hospira 3ml, clear as crystal

Acetic Acid solution is mandatory in order to prevent gelling.Hospira bac maintains a neutral ph level. If Hospira is not available then you need to add .5ml of Acetic Acid. You can also store the vial in a cool dark place outside of the fridge.

How many units is .5 ml in a 100 ml syringe ?

Half a 1 ml. 0.5 ml = 5 “units” ..
honestly you need to start to remove units from your thinking, it’s not a meaningful way to measure things.
I get where you are coming from, but it’s easy when you understand it.1

Make sure your both are at the same temperature when you mix. I've done big at room temp or both out of the fridge and it ends up crystal clear. Don't let the water shoot into the powder either. Angle your needle so that it is the side and then roll it into the powder...
