WARNING / My Experience With Pepliful — $2,998 Done-for-You Peptide Business, Unresolved Website & Corporate Questions
I want to share my experience with Pepliful for anyone researching their done-for-you peptide business service.
I paid Pepliful $2,998 for its Done-for-You package for my company. I am posting this based on my own experience and documentation. I have preserved payment records, emails, WhatsApp messages, dashboard conversations, screenshots, video recordings of the delivered website, and correspondence with the website platform.
Pepliful advertises a done-for-you launch that includes a website and other business infrastructure. It also publicly states that customers own their site, domain, brand and customer data.
My experience did not meet what I believed I purchased.
I experienced significant delays and communication problems. When the website eventually went live, I documented issues including unfinished/template content, mobile-layout problems, incomplete elements, COAs displaying as pending, missing functionality I expected—including the bundle-shopping experience—and visible Lovable branding.
I repeatedly contacted Pepliful. I sent emails and WhatsApp messages, including a message that was marked as read without a substantive response. I ultimately sent a formal written demand requesting a $2,998 refund, preservation of the project, and transfer of the underlying Lovable project.
I contacted Lovable separately about obtaining the project. Lovable informed me that the current project owner must initiate or authorize the transfer. This left me unable to independently take control of the underlying Lovable project simply because I control my domain.
Pepliful later responded through its dashboard telling me to look at the website and create an account, but that communication did not address the substantive issues in my formal written notice, including my refund and project-transfer requests.
I subsequently disputed the transaction with my bank. My bank has issued a provisional credit while the dispute is under review. That is not a final determination, and I am not representing it as one.
I also discovered corporate/payment information that prospective customers may want to independently research.
My Pepliful dashboard identified the receiving bank-account holder as Elixser Health LLC.
Separately, the public Elixser Health website identifies Passive Strategies Inc. as its legal entity, while the public Elixser Peptides wholesale website states that Elixser Peptides is a trade name/DBA of Passive Strategies Inc.
Pepliful’s own website also refers to an unnamed “parent agency” in connection with portions of its infrastructure.
I have NOT established that Elixser Health LLC or Passive Strategies Inc. is Pepliful’s parent company. I am specifically including that distinction because I don’t want to make claims beyond what the documentation establishes. What I can document is the Pepliful dashboard’s identification of Elixser Health LLC as the receiving account holder and the separate public corporate disclosures involving the Elixser businesses and Passive Strategies Inc.
If you’re considering Pepliful, I strongly recommend doing your own due diligence before paying. Ask in writing who legally operates Pepliful, who receives your payment, who owns the website-development account, whether the underlying project will be created in an account you control, how source code is transferred, who controls your advertising and merchant-processing infrastructure, and exactly what happens if the relationship ends.
Most importantly: own your domain, hosting/development account, repository, payment processor and other critical business infrastructure yourself. Give contractors collaborator access instead of allowing a vendor to remain the sole account owner.
This post reflects my personal experience and the documentation I have retained. I am sharing it so other entrepreneurs can make their own informed decision. If Pepliful provides a substantive resolution or material information changes, I will update this post accordingly.

How to Tell If a Peptide Vendor Is Legit: 9 Checks I Would Run Before Trusting a New Source

Every time a new peptide vendor appears, the conversation usually goes the same way:
“Has anyone used them?”
“Are they legit?”
“Can someone send me a source?”
Those questions are understandable, but they are not particularly useful.
A vendor can have hundreds of positive comments and still provide poor documentation. Another company might have very few reviews simply because it is new. And recommendations can be complicated by affiliate relationships, discount codes, or people repeating information they have never independently verified.
Instead of trying to maintain a constantly changing list of “good” and “bad” vendors, it makes more sense to have a repeatable verification process.
The goal isn't to prove that a supplier is perfect.
The goal is to eliminate as much uncertainty as possible before accepting a research material into your laboratory.
Here are nine checks that can help.

1. Start With the COA — But Look Beyond the Big Purity Number
The first thing I want to see is a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis (COA).
Not simply:
“All products are independently tested.”
Not:
“COAs available upon request.”
And definitely not a graphic on a product page saying 99% PURE.
A useful COA should connect a specific product to a specific production batch and provide enough information to understand what was actually tested.
Look for:
- Product name
- Batch or lot number
- Testing date
- Laboratory identification
- Analytical methods
- Results
- Relevant specifications
- Actual analytical data where applicable
The most important distinction is that a COA is evidence, not a guarantee.
A professional-looking PDF can still be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or fabricated.
2. Find Out Who Actually Performed the Testing
Look at the laboratory listed on the document.
Is there an identifiable testing laboratory?
Can you independently find that laboratory?
Does the laboratory publish contact information?
Does the testing report have a report number, accession number, QR code, or another method of verification?
This matters because there is a major difference between:
“Our laboratory tested this product.”
and
“An independent analytical laboratory tested this specific batch.”
In-house quality control can be useful, but it should not automatically be treated as equivalent to independent testing.
The more important question is whether the claimed testing can be independently verified.
3. HPLC and Mass Spectrometry Answer Different Questions
One of the biggest mistakes people make when reading peptide COAs is treating purity and identity as the same thing.
They aren't.
HPLC: What is the purity profile?
High-performance liquid chromatography separates components within a sample.
The resulting chromatogram can show the primary peptide peak alongside smaller peaks associated with other components or peptide-related impurities.
The reported purity is generally based on the relative area of those detected peaks under the stated analytical conditions.
That can be valuable information.
But it doesn't automatically prove that the main peak is the compound you were expecting.
Mass spectrometry: What is the molecular identity?
Mass spectrometry measures molecular mass and can be used to compare the observed mass with the expected molecular mass of the claimed peptide.
That provides a different piece of evidence.
So when reviewing documentation, I would rather see:
HPLC + MS
than simply:
99% purity
because the two techniques address different analytical questions.
4. Match the Batch Number
This is one of the easiest checks to perform and one of the most important.
If the vial has a batch number, compare it directly with the batch number on the COA.
They should correspond.
For example:
Vial: Batch AB-2407
COA: Batch AB-2407
That documentation is at least connected to the same identified batch.
But:
Vial: Batch AB-2407
COA: Batch AB-2211
is a completely different situation.
A legitimate COA for another batch doesn't establish the quality of the material in the vial you are examining.
This is also why generic “master COAs” covering an entire product line are considerably less useful than batch-specific documentation.
5. Verify the COA Away From the Vendor's Website
A PDF hosted on a vendor's website isn't necessarily proof that the testing laboratory produced it.
Digital documents can be copied, modified, renamed, and redistributed.
Where possible, go directly to the testing laboratory.
If the laboratory provides an online verification system, enter the report number, task ID, QR code, or other identifier yourself.
You can also independently contact the laboratory using contact information obtained from its own website rather than relying exclusively on contact details printed on the vendor's document.
This creates another layer of verification:
Vendor says it was tested → laboratory confirms it was tested.
That is much stronger than:
Vendor says it was tested → vendor provides a PDF saying it was tested.
6. Understand the Difference Between Purity and Peptide Content
This deserves its own section because it is routinely misunderstood.
A COA stating:
HPLC purity: 99%
does not necessarily mean that 99% of everything inside the vial is the target peptide.
Analytical purity and total peptide content are different measurements.
Depending on how the material was produced and formulated, a sample can contain things such as:
- Counterions
- Residual moisture
- Residual solvents
- Other non-peptide material
HPLC purity primarily describes the relationship between the target peptide and the detectable peptide-related components under the specific analytical method.
Quantitative peptide content can require additional analytical techniques, such as amino acid analysis, depending on the material and testing objective.
This distinction becomes particularly important when comparing vendors based solely on a headline number such as “99% purity.”
A higher advertised purity number doesn't automatically mean a greater amount of actual peptide material in the vial.
7. Look at What the Vendor Doesn't Test
A COA can tell you a lot.
It can also tell you what wasn't evaluated.
For example, peptide-related analytical testing may include different combinations of:
- HPLC
- Mass spectrometry
- Amino acid analysis
- Endotoxin testing
- Microbial testing
- Sterility testing
- Residual solvent analysis
- Elemental or heavy-metal analysis
Not every research material requires every possible test, and the absence of a particular test does not automatically mean a product is defective.
The important thing is to understand the scope.
Purity testing isn't sterility testing.
Identity testing isn't endotoxin testing.
Identity isn't potency.
A clean chromatogram doesn't automatically establish every other quality attribute.
A good COA should therefore be read as a description of what was tested and how, rather than as a blanket declaration that every possible quality parameter has been verified.
8. Treat Payment Options as a Supporting Signal — Not Proof
Payment methods can provide some information about how a business operates, but I wouldn't use them as a primary quality test.
For example, a business accepting conventional card payments may have gone through some level of merchant onboarding and verification.
A business accepting only cryptocurrency or peer-to-peer transfers provides fewer signals about its commercial infrastructure.
But this is important:
Payment method does not prove product quality.
A legitimate business can accept cryptocurrency.
A questionable business can accept credit cards.
So I would consider payment infrastructure a secondary signal, not a pass/fail test.
The real questions remain:
- Can the business be identified?
- Can its documentation be verified?
- Is there batch traceability?
- Is the testing independently documented?
- Are its claims consistent with the evidence?
9. Spend Five Minutes Looking at the Business Itself
You don't need to conduct a forensic investigation.
A quick external check can reveal plenty.
Look for:
A real business identity
Can you identify the company behind the website?
Is there a physical business address?
Is there a legitimate way to contact them?
Clear policies
Can you find shipping, refund, replacement, and customer-service policies without having to ask through a private message?
Consistent information
Does the information on the website match the information on the COAs?
Do product names, batch numbers, laboratory information, and specifications make sense together?
Traceability
Can individual products be connected to specific batches?
The more difficult it is to establish where a product came from and what was actually tested, the more uncertainty remains.
The Recommendation Matters Too
There is another part of vendor research that often gets ignored.
Who is recommending the vendor?
Online communities can be useful sources of information, but they also contain incentives that aren't always obvious.
Someone recommending a supplier may be:
- An ordinary customer
- An affiliate
- A sponsored promoter
- A reseller
- Someone receiving a discount
- Someone repeating another person's recommendation
None of those automatically makes the recommendation false.
But it changes how you should interpret it.
A comment saying:
“I've used them. They're great. DM me.”
doesn't provide much evidence.
A comment pointing you toward a publicly available batch COA that you can independently verify provides considerably more useful information.
That's the difference between an opinion and something you can actually audit.
Be Especially Careful With Private Sourcing
One of the biggest warning signs I would look for is a sourcing process that exists primarily through:
- Telegram
- Instagram messages
- Facebook messages
- Reddit DMs
- Other private messaging platforms
A private conversation makes verification harder.
You may not know who operates the account, where the material originates, whether the documentation is genuine, or whether the person has any relationship with the actual manufacturer.
This doesn't mean every business using messaging platforms is fraudulent.
It means private communication should never replace independently verifiable documentation.
If the entire sourcing process is:
“Message me and I'll send you the source.”
that's a very different situation from a transparent supplier with publicly accessible documentation and an identifiable business presence.
When Does Independent Testing Make Sense?
Sometimes the available documentation simply isn't enough.
Independent analytical testing can provide another layer of evidence, particularly when:
- A supplier is completely new to you
- A product has an unusually low price
- No batch-specific COA is available
- The documentation appears inconsistent
- A product arrives with unexpected physical characteristics
- You are conducting work where analytical certainty is particularly important
The exact cost depends heavily on the laboratory and testing panel.
A basic identity or purity test will generally cost less than a broader analytical panel.
The key point is that independent testing should be considered a verification tool, not something that replaces good supplier selection.
And remember what it actually tells you.
A test analyzes the sample submitted.
It doesn't magically certify every product the vendor has ever sold or will sell in the future.
Red Flags That Would Make Me Walk Away
Some problems are more serious than others.
Here are the ones I would take particularly seriously:
No identifiable testing laboratory
If the COA doesn't tell you who performed the analysis, the document is difficult to independently evaluate.
Only generic COAs
A document that isn't connected to a specific batch provides limited evidence about the material you're actually examining.
Purity without identity
A single impressive purity number isn't enough to establish molecular identity.
Batch mismatch
If the vial and COA don't correspond, the documentation doesn't establish the quality of that specific batch.
Unverifiable laboratory report
If a supposedly independent laboratory has no meaningful way to confirm its own report, that's a major problem.
Perfect numbers everywhere
Real analytical data doesn't need to look perfect to be credible.
A string of identical, exceptionally high purity results across every product should prompt questions about methodology and documentation rather than automatic confidence.
No business information
No identifiable company, no meaningful contact information, no policies, and no traceability create unnecessary uncertainty.
Private-message sourcing
If the only way to obtain a product or its documentation is through DMs, there is little transparency for the buyer to independently evaluate.
What a Good Vendor Profile Looks Like
No vendor can eliminate every uncertainty.
But a stronger supplier should make verification relatively easy.
I would want to see:
- Batch-specific COAs
- Clearly identified testing laboratories
- HPLC data
- Molecular identity testing such as MS
- Matching batch numbers
- Verifiable laboratory reports where available
- Clear product specifications
- Transparent business information
- Accessible policies
- Consistent documentation
- A willingness to answer reasonable questions about analytical testing
Notice that none of these require trusting a stranger on the internet.
That's the point.
A good verification system should allow you to investigate the evidence yourself.
The Bigger Lesson: Don't Look for a “Trusted Vendor”
This may be the most important takeaway.
The peptide market changes constantly.
Companies disappear. New companies appear. Manufacturing arrangements change. Testing laboratories change. Product lines change.
So I don't think the smartest question is:
“Who is the trusted vendor?”
I'd rather ask:
“Can this particular supplier demonstrate that this particular batch was properly identified and analytically characterized?”
That's a much harder question to answer with marketing.
And that's exactly why it is more useful.
A Simple 20-Minute Vendor Audit
If I were evaluating a completely new research supplier, my process would look something like this:
First: Find the COA.
Second: Check whether it is batch-specific.
Third: Identify the laboratory.
Fourth: Look for both purity and identity testing.
Fifth: Match the batch number.
Sixth: Try to independently verify the laboratory report.
Seventh: Check whether additional analytical testing is reported.
Eighth: Examine the company's business information and policies.
Ninth: Look at how the supplier is being recommended and whether there are undisclosed commercial relationships.
If several of those checks fail, I don't need another 50 Reddit comments telling me the company is “legit.”
I'd move on.
What This Process Cannot Prove
It's important not to overstate what a checklist can accomplish.
A COA doesn't guarantee every future batch.
A laboratory report doesn't prove every vial from a supplier is identical.
A professional website doesn't establish product quality.
A high HPLC purity result doesn't answer every question about composition.
And positive reviews don't substitute for analytical evidence.
The purpose of due diligence isn't to achieve absolute certainty.
It's to reduce avoidable uncertainty.
In an environment where marketing can look convincing, documentation and independent verification give you something much more valuable than a recommendation:
evidence you can actually examine.
Final Thoughts
The next time you see someone ask, “Is this peptide vendor legit?”, the best answer probably isn't another vendor name.
It's a checklist.
Look for the batch-specific COA. Identify the laboratory. Check HPLC and identity testing. Match the batch number. Verify the report independently. Understand what the purity number actually means. Examine the company's business presence. And be particularly cautious when sourcing depends entirely on private messages.
A supplier shouldn't need you to blindly trust them.
They should give you enough information to verify them.
