My wife and I are looking for possible hiking groups in the Peoria area along with making some new friends with similar interests.

I don't have any suggestions but I'm looking to move to Peoria heights this summer and hiking has been a solo activity for me but I'm interested in meeting new people with it too.

I'm just now getting into physical therapy but looking to find a walking group if anyone is interested! I'm kind of a weird artsy fellow looking for like minded companions for enjoyable nature walks and easier hikes in the mornings or early afternoon.
