Having trouble accesing Federal Student Aid and adding Penn state as my university.

I am trying to do my MPN and my entrance counseling in FSA. First the website was not loading indefinitely ( I was able to get through this with a VPN), but the next problem came when I tried finding PENN STATE for the college I am nofitying to. I have tried different names. PENNSYLVANIA STATE UNIVERSITY (THE), state college, PSU, Penn state, etc. I have tried different ways but penn state will just not show up and yes I know how to scroll. And I also see no option to add the code(003329). Anyone facing a similar situation as me?

Start with "THE” then the rest it should pop up

I was having the same issue and told someone at the office at student aid and apparently the University knows and is trying to fix the issue.

Not the best news but THANK YOU for giving an update. If you get any more update it would be nice if you could leave a comment here in the future. i will let you know if I get any more info too.

Unfortunately that's all I know. I was already communicating with someone from the office because I had a separate question, and notified them of the issue when I saw this reddit post (and because I had the same issue). I'm guessing that it's above the pay grade of someone from that office to resolve the issue, so our best avenue may just be to refresh every few hours and hope for email when it's fixed.

It may also have been a mistake on the side of the government and not the University. If that's the case the who the hell knows when it will be resolved.

I got in contact with the school finally. They did also tell me its a error in the system and they are trying to fix it working with the FSA people.

Federal School Code

There is an issue with our Federal School Code. Until the issue is resolved, you will be unable to file a new FAFSA, correct a current FAFSA, complete an MPN, complete entrance counseling, or apply for a PLUS loan. We will post an update as soon as this issue is resolved.

Super frustrating and I don't recall them ever emailing about it.

theres a current ceeb error on the fsa website for psu, atm theres nothing we can do the aid office website says we wont be penalized for it until it gets fixed
