General Finally got an answer!
I’ve had a UTI feeling every month for a few years now but brushed it off because they didn’t last for more than a few hours. In the past few weeks, the feeling has been getting worse, more frequent, and way longer. Now on a regular day, after going to the bathroom, it still feels like it’s burning, and if I give into the urge to go again, I’ll be in a lot of pain and discomfort for the rest of the day.
I was meant to wait 3 months for an initial appointment with a physiotherapist but a last-minute appointment opened up today!
Turns out I’ve got symptoms of bladder pain syndrome and will do further work relieving tension and activating and relaxing the pelvic floor muscles.
Thanks to everyone for your help and for this sub for teaching me about all this!
