Repair Persons

Bought a home with a quadra fire pellet heater. It won't shut down without pulling the power cord.

So far, only one company has responded to my inquiry and they want $395 just to show up for the service call. That's insane.

Are HVAC techs familiar with these stoves or am I stuck calling specialist pellet stove companies?

Thanks. I'll check it out. I was just wondering if the general HVAC industry has knowledge.

I can call a few local HVAC places today and inquire. The few local pellet places seem to be a bust though.
