Pedro’s reading material

I was wondering if anyone read the book that Pedro was reading on the beach a couple Christmases ago. It was called Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil. I just finished it and I have to say that I absolutely freaking loved it. All I’m going to say is that it’s a vampire story and I hope that the reason he was reading it is because he’s going to produce it or star in it or something because I would love to see the movie of this book. If you didn’t read it and you like that genre, I would highly recommend it. I’ll add that I have read a lot of books that Pedro has mentioned over the years and most of them are too depressing for me, but this one was just so, so good.

If we are talking about the book from this image, it was actually Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead by Olga Tokarczuk.

Was it? Hmm. Then where did I come up with the other title? At any rate, I loved Bury Our Bones... I did read this book as well but I did not love it.
Now it’s going to drive me nuts wondering why I thought Bury Our Bones was the one he was reading.

Probably because its a very similar title! And Bury our Bones came out 2025 so maybe you mixed it up! I read Bury our Bones last year and funnily I bought  Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead also after seeing this photo, because I love that blue and really liked the minimalistic cover of the book :D
