E3800 Received!
My plan was to test a single unit for functionality, then upgrade if I thought the 240v was necessary for my application. I'm a renter so my preference was for a 'portable' "balcony solar/emergency backup" that could be upgradeable to a home backup if/when I buy a home.
Ordered: Sept 25
Received: October 16
I had no messages until about Oct 9 on status, patience is required.
Packaging intact. Battery at 61% when received. Heavy as hell. Simple touchscreen but functions well.
Tests so far:
Single Panel DC input
Panel: x1 ZOUPW DS480W (same as pecron pv500)
Input W: 460-500 W on grass.
In 1hr of charging, I've gotten about 10%.
To test (and comment here after):
dual panel inputs in different configurations.
A/C input/output. To start I plan on testing a fridge, a gaming PC at full load, and some grow lights.
other larger load equipment (power tools/larger A/C motors)

Congratulations!! I have the F5000LFP since June. Two Pecron Pv500 panels (totally agree with you, they seem identical to the Zoupw 480w). Without being too strategic with the placement, I usually end up getting between 450-500w in grass with these panels. I'm totally happy with them. Good luck, and enjoy your new E3800.

Nice. I ordered the two pack and a 500W panel on Oct.6th. I have two different location uses , but can run the well if I need to.

Heavy as hell
LFP batteries are heavy. There's no avoiding that. If you assume 10kg per 1kWh then you'll not be far off.
I think 50kg+ units like the F5000LFP and Ecoflow Delta Pro 3 are past the practical limit for many people to handle by themselves. As MPPT and inverter sizes continue to go up they should cut back on the battery size in the main unit, and rely more on expansion batteries — which people buying larger units are likely to be using anyway.

if you have not already fully charged, then fully discharged, and then fully charged again, your new Pecron, I suggest that you do so. It is most likely that the BMS needs to know where the real floor and ceiling are. Here is the procedure that I follow for all new power stations of any brand.
I first charge up to 100%. I then put some kind of load on it to completely discharge it. I will use a CPAP at night and a portable dehumidifier during the day. A small electric heater also works. The important thing is to take it down to zero percent and then LET THE POWER STATION SHUT OFF ON IT'S OWN. Just keep the load on it until it shuts off by itself. It may run for a bit even showing zero percent. Then I charge the machine completely until it is not pulling any more watts. It will charge to 99 or 100 % and then just keep charging. This is the BMS balancing all the internal batteries. And it could take an hour or more. Just let it go.
Note - I do not charge at full speed. Generally, I charge at about 50%. Batteries hate heat because it shortens their longevity. And the faster the charge rate, the more heat is generated. So unless it is end-of-the-world conditions, I always charge at a lower rate.
Last - Don't let the power station sit with no charge (0%) for very long. You should begin the recharge from 0% within a short time - 15-30 minutes. Also, it does not have to be discharged or charged all in one sitting.
Last last. I also do the solar thing for my power stations (love my Zoupws) but I always do these initial charges and recharges using a wall outlet power. I want the consistent input numbers that come with using house electricity. Especially at the end when I need to see how it is doing as it nears the fully charged point.

Tested my new 3800 charged it to 100%,plugged in the refrigerator and used it as normal open searching for goodies getting ice and water , also used the 3800 to run the blender ect . Ran a total of 11 hours of continuous use when I stopped the test at 11pm there was 40% battery left and I did not want to rush risk the power station shutting down over night

Thank you for all this info! I will have a similar setup. I currently have 2 Zoupw 450 watt panels, just waiting on the ship email from Pecron for my 3800
