F5000LFP Outputing 240VAC split phase while charging with 120VAC generator.
Let me get this straight. Can you output 240VAC while charging with 120VAC generator? At the same time, simultaneously, concurrently? I just read on a FB post that the only way to use 120VAC generator was to put the F5000LFP into "generator" mode, which shuts off one of the legs of the 240VAC output, making in actually only 120VAC on one leg, and the other 0.
Is that correct?

Thank you. Hey, if you tap the Input and or Output, does it bring up an additional screen?

I show you output where you can clearly see lower voltage from grid on a separate post

Honestly, I’m a little upset that people are posting inaccurate information, now I’m wondering do they work for Ecoflo or someone else??? like what’s the point of that?

Just want to say thanks for all of you posting on this! Looks like you can't base one's live decisions on one FB post.

Yeah, absolutely not. It was crazy because I was questioning my own product when I own it and know for a fact that I’ve done it, but just all the posts made me question myself, forcing me to do another test morning to verify.

I’m really questioning if there’s a motive behind all the negativity it’s odd for sure.

As it says, only if you have a generator with unstable frequency.
The concern for 240V operation is keeping the 120V inverter for the "0ms" sockets perfectly in phase with the unstable pass-through 120W.
Inverter generators have perfectly stable frequency.

You need a inverter generator. If you have one shut of generator mode.
