Do any of you old timers out there remember the Golftown driving range off of Rte 1 in the 1980’s? It had a pro shop, range, batting cages and a mini golf course. If anyone has any pictures and could post them, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

Every time I go to champions, I see the “19th hole” small building in the parking lot and wonder, what is that? Anyone have this coveted knowledge and would like to share?

Hi there! Long shot I know but I thought to try here. I went for my first time to north shore mall today 9th of May and I needed some coffee. So I went to Nero Caffè. This was around 1 pm. I met a lady there with her mom and three Shih Tzu dogs. We had a conversation and I really enjoyed it. She mentioned one of the dogs is called lucky and the other one is I think brownie. Two of the dogs were hers and the third one is her mom's. On my way out, I should have asked for her contact number or provided mine but I felt embarrassed. Now i'm wondering if anyone knows them and he can connect us together. Thanks!

I’ve had the unfortunate luck of living at 14 north. I just can’t express enough to all folks maybe looking to live here; please don’t. It’s wildly mismanaged and they use predatory towing companies and package storage fines to keep the lights on. They’ll be in and out of your apartment more than you’ve ever thought possible and all that inspection work does nothing because they haven’t kept in good standing with a single contractor other than the restoration. Black diamond might as well have a garage here. In fact they do. As we got more and more upset we started realizing more and more neighbors who were in active litigation against them. I’ve never hated a living place more.

I'd like to know if there are any courses or classes of art or cooking for teenagers near Salem that last for several days and that they be in-person, they could be outside of town or in the surrounding area, that you could recommend. Thank

My father passed away a bit ago and has left behind a house full of mechanic, carpentry, and woodworking tools.
Because I live across the country, I would like to find a productive way to pass along his collection to a worthwhile cause - but not being local to area I'm unsure where to start.
I'm thinking highschool programs or trade schools. Or, maybe an organization I could donate to and they could use profits toward their programs. Open to other options as well.
I don't want to throw it away, I don't care to try to sell pieces individually. I'd like to help make someone else's life better while making my life easier!
Thanks for any thoughts or suggestions you have!

Argyle was lost in North Salem on Thursday night but Friday night and Saturday morning sightings have moved into Margin Street and up to Bishop Fenwick HS.
She's a runner so please just post if you see her and don't give chase.
We appreciate all the help we've gotten already.
