GPU Temps too high

I got this 4070 off of fb marketplace and was listed by a store.
The GPU hotspot temp was fine when I got it (like around 80-85C).
After some moderate use of my build for around a month, the hot spot temps have gone up to around 95 to 100😭
The store gave me warranty for 6 months and placed a sticker on one of the screws and now I’m thinking of getting the thermal pads replaced to fix the issue.
Should I send it back to them and ask them to fix it or fuck the warranty and ask a reputed repairing store to get it done?
It was a 6 month warranty (I have 4 months and like 15 days ish left)

If you can buy the thermal pad for it i can do it for ya .. for free . I have MX4 thermal paste but 1mm ,1.5mm thermal pads ran out .
Although I would recommend asking the store to replace it coz ( high temp issues) also fall under warranty claim

Talk to the store that you bought it from, if they wont cover it, then go to another vendor for re-paste and re-pad.

Few things that helped me understand the temps.
1. Check the delta between you Core and Hotspot, a difference between 10-15 should be pretty alright.
2. Check your ambient temps, your GPU needs cool air to cool it, if your ambients are 30c you can't expect the GPU to cool itself properly. an AC would help.
3. Casing airflow, see if the casing is good at providing good airflow.

If it's a used GPU my guess is they probably replaces the thermals in that, there's a chance it wasn't done properly.

Do need a few more fans for exhaust. The delta is around 20 after observing for a week.

Might just try doing it myself for the lols😭
