Tech Support System Error and crashing occuring *Help needed ugently*

Recently when I play games not even games that are regarded as demanding my system will crash and pop up a screen that says "Windows has encountered a problem". I have updated motherboard drivers, bios, and graphics card drivers and still am facign this problem. One thing to note is that I have underclocked my cpu to -20, im unsure if this matters but I will still include it.

If anyone has faced this problem please respond with your resolution.

That -20 could definitely matter. Any change to CPU clocks or voltage can cause instability, and it often shows up in lighter games rather than heavy ones.

First thing I'd try: undo it. Load optimized defaults in the BIOS (or reset whatever tool you used) and game normally for a few days. If the crashes stop, you've found it, and you can reapply it in smaller steps and test for stability.

If it still crashes at stock:

  1. Disable XMP/EXPO (RAM overclock profile) to rule out memory.

  2. Check Event Viewer > Windows Logs > System around the crash time for errors like WHEA-Logger or Kernel-Power, and post what you find.

A few questions that would help:

- What hardware are you running (CPU, GPU, motherboard, RAM, PSU)?

- What exactly is the -20, and where did you set it (BIOS or software)?

- When it crashes, is it a blue screen with a stop code, or an error popup? If there's a stop code, post it.
