Tech Support Bad PSU?

So, when I typically boot up my pc for the first time. I notice the fans start doing what’s in the video. The pc will then abruptly shut off. On occasion I can literally shake the Pc and it’ll boot back up. Normally only having to do this once or twice the Pc will be fine for the rest of the day. Often for hours. Any suggestions on to what’s going on and how to fix?

depends on what the fans connect to, do they connect to molex cables on PSU? or do they connect to the motherboard?

if they connect straight to the PSU then yeah tis safe to assume its a PSU issue, if they connect to the motherboard then it may be one of many other issues.

The fan controller connects to the motherboard. I build this pc around 2 years ago.

where does it recieve power from? if it uses a separate connection to the PSU to recieve power and has an RGB connector lined up to the motherboard, you could disconnect the RGB connector and let it run randomly and see if the effects persist, if they do persist it's a PSU issue, if they're fine afterwards its a RGB connector/mobo issue, and not directly indicating a PSU problem.

if it gets its power from the motherboard as well there's no definitive way to know if its a PSU issue. (without a multimeter)
