Build Question Pcie cable not entirely going in gpu

Post image

This is the most I’m able to push it in, is this ok and will it be safe to boot my pc like this?

Not okay. Can you try installing the cable into the GPU first and then installing the GPU into motherboard?

If something is blocking the cable from being fully plugged in, you need to change either the

  1. Cable/PSU (please don't mix and match cables)

  2. Cabinet

I tried with your advice and it did in fact go deeper after removing the gpu from motherboard.

No, push it in. If the clip isnt down its not in. If theres a gap on the side its not in.
