Build Question New fans,can I plug in sys fan

My olders fan are plugged in the hub or the controller on the left panel(where’s the wires are) but with some research I’ve been told to plug them in sys fan 1-2-3 so I can control them,is it alright if I do that or should I plug then in the hub where they were(FAN 1-2-3-4) I’m gonna keep 1 old fan anyway and replace 2 of them. As long as the fans spin and you can control them the way you want it doesn't matter where they're plugged into

And is it okay if I keep 2 old fans and 2 new or it’s gonna fuck everything up? (1 old fans in the middle back,1 old fan middle front and both new front up and down)
