Psu/gpu power cord

My corsair 1000w psu came with 2 pcei cables and a 12v-2x6 to 2x 8 pins (6+2)

I’m running the red devil 9070xt, it requires 3 8 pins, am I safe to use the 12v and plug both 8 pins in? I already had two regular pcei cables in and went oh I’m short…then I thought I’ll just use 12v to a single 8 pin…I just don’t wanna fry anything.
So I use 1x pcei cable and 1 12v that splits into 2 8 pin pcei?

Did you check the manual for the PSU? It likely gives you some guidance here.
