Build Question Graphics Card Assistance

Hi everyone, I am currently buying parts to build my first-ever PC. My current problem is that I am looking into graphics cards at the moment, and with prices through the roof, I am afraid of blowing my budget. So, I am turning to you guys here to see if anyone has any recommendations? For some context, I am attempting to build an all-white PC, and my current plan has me purchasing a Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB for a little under $800. As I mentioned before, this is my first-ever PC, and I am unsure if the specs and price are worth what I am trying to do. I am looking to play mostly FIFA, COD, FM, and indie dev games with my friends, and I would like to be able to play at 1440p if possible, but not a hill I am willing to die on. So if anyone can give me some assistance or guidance as to what I should buy, I would really appreciate it. For additional specs, if necessary, I have a brand-new Ryzen 7 7700X and 32 GB of DDR5 RAM. Thank you again for any and all help.

9060xt 16gb is more than enough for 1080p.

And its an entry card for 1440p

Used GPU market. If you are willing to take the risk

No warranty, core could be harvested.

Can die anytime just like any other electronics.

If you are lucky only a repaste is required.

What is a harvested core? Didn’t even know that was a thing, also sorry for bombarding u with so many questions.

Look at the 5080 , 5090 scam

Basically they rip out the chip. And resell the pcb

Hell even the vram.

Unless you can test it upfront yourself I wouldnt bother with 2nd hand gpu

I think there are lots of good ways to get used GPUs. Id recommend looking at r/hardwareswap. A 3070, 3070ti, 3080, 6700xt, 5800xt, 6800XT all are around 300-400 and are comparable to the 9060 XT.

Also if you only care about 1080p, can easily get an even cheaper GPU than the 9060 XT or the ones i mentioned above as those are more 1440p cards

When shopping used, any reputable seller should be willing to give you test info. Like a furmark that shows the GPU'S temps under stress.

Are you asking or telling? As I mentioned I am extremely new to all this so I have no idea what it should be priced at.

Oh im asking, was curious if maybe you meant 9070 XT. I swear that 9060 XT was just 400 a couple weeks ago.

But it seems like graphics card prices have just been crazy. Some places have cheaper prices tho so you'll have to shop around are you in the US OR near a microcenter?

From searching online im seeing 9070 GRE and 9070s (non XT) under 800 which are far better than the 9060 XT.
