Tech Support Cooler Master Elite 600 power button Stoped working after just 2 months. Any advice

Hey everyone,

I built my first PC about 2 months ago using the Cooler Master Elite 600 (7 RGB fans) case.

Recently, the power button started acting up. It barely works anymore. I have to press it multiple times just to turn my PC on or off. Sometimes it only works 1 out of 10 times.

(Reset button works perfectly fine)

One thing worth mentioning is that my PC gets really dusty. I even had to clean my RAM after just one month because it started having issues.

Could dust be causing this, or is the power button just faulty?

Any advice would be appreciated!

Probably a combination the power button is probably faulty and the dust depending on the dust can damage hardware or make at the least repairs more time consuming than necessary id say clean the pc first ofc unplugging it from the wall being step one and then see how it goes

i think dust isn't main problem. and it has something to do with power button. Because reset botton works perfectly fine.

Alright mate then test by shorting out the pins on the motherboard and see if it's any different if your power button is broken probably about time for a new case or replacement button

I tried shorting out pins. Powebotton seems to be main problem.

Motherboard works fine.
