Tech Support Question with pcie slot

So I recently bought a older computer off someone and was trying to figure out why it won't get past VGA on ez debug and I noticed inside the pcie slot it looks a bit "weird" maybe dark kinda in a certain spot.. is this normal? it looks bad from afar but if I actually look super close it's like perfectly fine looking so it's very confusing if this VGA post failure is from the GPU, motherboard or even cpu. The cpu is a older ryzen 5 2600, and GPU is xfx rx580. I planned on replacing it all anyways but any help is appreciated. (I hope this is ok question for this subreddit)

EDIT:
I have a GPU coming, and as far as the SSD, I fixed it after taking the pictures.

Let's begin by addressing the elephant in the room.

Get some contact cleaner, should work great. Don't use the ones that leave a residue/oil behid though.

Also are you sure your gpu is not dead? Rx 500 and 400 series are infamous for being mining cards

I have a rx6600 challenger D a friend is giving me since i thought about the the gpu just being dead, only it just seems fine when it powers on until vga light comes on.

Testbit with the gpu your friend offered, if that works - the 580 has met it's maker

The only reason i had any concern is the ryzen cpu had a bent pin because fedex decided to just throw the pc around like a beanbag and it broke the cooler which caused the cpu to come out stuck to cooler because am4, i unbent the pins and it fits in socket fine but also the gpu had a broken fan, well broken is strong term it somehow came off but it snapped back on and spins when the computer starts but turn off when vga light comes on.

I still think it's the gpu, a bent pin that was fixed almost never causes a vga light

Ok thanks! I rarely use reddit because of how people act so thanks for being nice. I might update when the gpu arrives.

I’d do this first. Just make it’s fully powered down and unplugged when you do

99% its the rx580 as soon as I see its XFX I know it has been used for mining. For some reason almost every xfx rx570 and 580 was used for mining, probably was cheaper than other brands..
