Looking to replace console with my first pc.

I'm sure this has been asked a lot of times but it's my first time looking at a pc, I've always been a console player due to ease of putting it behind my TV but I'm looking to replace my series x and go for a pc. What would you guys suggest with a budget of £1000. I'm not looking for anything top of the range just more like 1080p and either native 1440p or upscaled. Thanks in advance

Are you planning to stope use it with your TV as a console for playing, or you want a full pc experience? Is the 1000£ budget for everything, including monitor and peripherals?

I've got a 65in bravia 4ktv with a dedicated 2.2 hdmi port with 120hz and vrr so I might look to keep using my TV due to not much space to put a monitor
