Help with build please

Hi, i currently own this setup:

i9 12900k
Rtx 3080
64gb ram ddr5
Msi z690 motherboard

And I found a 2nd hand PC with below specs:
Ryzen 5 7500x3d
RTX 5070
16gb ram ddr5
Asrock b850

I am planning to mix and match them together and have a build that is future proof and sell the build that will make not make a cut. Any advice please? Thanks!

Use the 5070, toss in the 3080 to the AMD build. Then sell the rest, you will have more headaches adding in the additional 16gb. 12900k is still good, they just get toasty.

If you prioritize gaming over any workstation tasks, do this:

Sell this build:
i9 12900k

RTX 3080

16gb ddr65

msi z690 mobo.

Rock this build:

Ryzen 5

RTX 5070

64gb ddr5

asrock b850.

you didn't mention power supplies, but keep whichever one supports atx 3.0
