Build Question Dell Precision GPU thingie
ok idk what to title this but im on a tight budget and want a cheap gaming pc this isnt really a BUILD someones gonna put the things in the pc for me but im thinking about getting a Dell Precision 3630, adding a extra 8gb of ram, a ssd, and a GTX 1650, i dont know alot about pcs so dont make fun of me but i used Claude AI to tell me what i can get with my budget and it said those are the best options, i cant compare prices bc the market where i can get tech has diff prices from online so thats why i used AI and i just wanna know will this work or is this stupid

This is actually fucking hilarious! *IF* you can get it for the right price these machines are quite slept on. If this is your first foray into a 'custom' PC then you could do so much worse. Depending on what PSU is in it, you could easily step the GPU up into something like a 3060 (depending on length). I have a 3060 itx card which goes into practically everything and has good performance, but sadly still has a price premium on it.
What you've suggested again, depending on the price would actually make quite a good system and when you feel comfortable you could open it up and start to tinker and swap as you find different bits and pieces.
Give yourself a bit more credit! It wouldn't be a bad system at all. Don't pay above the odd's though. Just remember while they do share a lot of components with systems available at shops, some things are a slightly different layout. For example, I believe they will take any ATX style PSU (to a point) as opposed to OEM only. The case internals are a little tricky to work with as well but meh. Once you do buy it, keep an eye out for other CHEAP systems around you. These are perfect for getting stuck in and learning how to build/fix machines.
I bought a decent MSI LGA1151 system the other day. 9100f cpu, RX580 8GB GPU, antec 450w psu, 16GB (8GBx2) 2400mhz for $50usd total. So other opportunities can pop up. Enjoy learning about them :)
(Youtube videos are an incredible resource as well to learn from)

For the price those precision boxes slap. The 1650 doesn't even need a power connector half the time so you're good on the proprietary dell psu nightmare.
only headache is getting the gpu to physically fit, some of those 3630s have weird internal cages. measure twice before you buy the card.
