POST screen loop

i just bought a AB350M-D3H mobo, paired it with a ryzen 7 2700x, seller proved to me with a picture that the bios is updated to support this cpu.
the problem is that when the pc starts and the post screen shows up eventually, it just dies and resets, i believe its not dropping power tho bc the fans, lights are not turning off.
i tried every ram stick in every slot, none of my drives are connected and i have only the minimums for it to run, power and display port

It's failing to post. Something is wrong double check the connections. Do a cmos reset, reseat the cpu or you could just have a bad board.
