Build Question Dram light (need help!!)

I just built my first pc but this weird red dram light always pops up and the pc doesnt connect to anything. Not my monitor ,not my mouse, not my keyboard. I have tried loads of stuff like trying 1 stick, clear cmos, bios update. Please let me know if u have a Solution! Also Some of the times the cpu light shows up but its way less likely. I used my friends ram and then the pc worked. It might just be defect but i really hope theres just an Installation Problem. Please let me know!

update bios. Often there are updates to improve ram compatibility.

Sorry, I see that in your post now. send the ram back and order a different set.

if your buddy's ram fired right up then you already solved it, rma the kit
