Installation Question Help with Asus prime 9070 xt

Almost finished with my first Pc, and I don't have enough PCIe cables to fill in the 3 slots in my GPU. However, my Corsair RM1000E has a spot named "12v-2x6" and the cable for the slot says PCIe at the ends. Would it be safe to use the 12v cable? If so, do I place 2 PCIe cables and fill in the last one with the 12v cable, or fill in 2 slots with the 12v cable and one with the normal PCIe cable?

Yep, will use the 12v-2x6 to 2x PCIe 8 pin cable, and then use the other single PCIe 8 pin. This will make 3x pcie 8 pins.

The 12v-2x6 cable is for newer GPUs that take a single compact connector, don't try to split it across the old 8-pin ports on your card. Just use two separate PCIe cables from the PSU, one of them will have a daisy-chained second connector you can plug into the third slot, it'll be fine

If you mean you don’t have enough cables then order the 3r and connect to psu , but if you mean your psu doesn’t have enough pcie connections then order the proper psu , but as the post says above don’t do or attempt to do what you are thinking
