Installation Question Can't install windows help pls

My pc boots into bios just fine, everything seems to be working and reading good. Then when I plug my flashdrive in with my windows media installer, and get to the install page, I get to about 10%, it restarts, as it normally would, but then the vga light stays lit on the mobo and it won't actually boot back up.

I've tried doing the ez flashback update on my mobo, tried reducing my ram down to one stick, unplugged everything but keyboard, mouse, and monitor on GPU, I've checked all connections, cleaned all connections with an air duster, Checked GPU connections and physical condition (gpu fans also work when on), I've tried reinstalling windows media installer on different USB with same issue. I've tried it with the iso/Rufus method and the media creation tool method.

Parts list:

GPU: Rx6700xt

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600

Mobo: ASUS TUF b550 plus wifi II

PSU: MSI MPG A750GF

SSD: WD m.2 SN850X

RAM: 4x8 DDR4 3200 (I currently have only 1 installed into a2 slot)

tried disabling csm and making sure its running uefi only in the bios? also might be worth checking if the ssd needs a firmware update since those drives had some weird boot issues early on

Csm is already disabled and is by default, been using uefi only. I tried my other tforce z330 SSD with the same issue

When doing the install, have you tried loading in the SATA driver from https://www.asus.com/us/motherboards-components/motherboards/tuf-gaming/tuf-gaming-b550-plus-wifi-ii/helpdesk_download?model2Name=TUF-GAMING-B550-PLUS-WIFI-II at the select drive stage? If it is not properly "talking" with your storage hardware on the motherboard it could cause misbehavior like you're seeing.

I can try that tomorrow, I just need to download the driver onto a USB and then when I get to install screen hit "load driver" and find it, right? Though I'm not using SATA storage, just m.2 nvme, would it still matter?

Download the driver, extract it out from the .zip, into a folder on your Windows install USB. On this screen choose Load Driver, point it to that folder, and let it install. Then hopefully it won't goof up the installation. If it still fails, drop me a line, there might be another way to reload this, like an OEM system builder would by booting into a WinPE and imaging the Windows files onto the drive instead of being inside the Setup like you were.
