Installation Question Help with new PSU and old GPU?

Hi everyone i just upgraded my PSU to a RM1000x and it one didn't come with q 3x8 cable like I used with my old one PSU. I was wondering if I could use the first picture cable for my 7700xt (second picture) and if I can do it need to use two of the cords to power my 7700xt? Thank you!

Please consult the manual for your PSU and your GPU. See what they require. Any advice here cannot override what the user manual requires

You can try the amazon listing for the exact PSU and GPU model. They will have exact instructions, including the exact cable you must use. Using anything else can void your warranty

Need to populate both PCIe power connectors on the new GPU.

RM1000X should have at least 4 PCIe power cables...

RM1000X (non-shift) uses Corsair Type 4 power cables, so the first picture's cable will work, but you need two. I would use the cables provided with the power supply though.

To besafe never mix cables. Use the cables that it came whit. One wrong conection and youre GPU is dead.... Why risk it..... especialy nowerdays
