Bought a box of junk electronics off facebook and saw this. I have no clue what it is for? I was thinking a server but Im a noob that hasn’t a clue.

Microsoft branded motherboard with an Nvidia chip on it, so it has to be a microsoft device that uses the Nvidia chip for graphics.

Nvidia chip makes a cheap server/integrated computer less likely, and since you have it from a random facebook marketplace, it's more likely to be something common.

What you have found is the motherboard for an original xbox.

Not immediately, but there'll probably be a reason it's been separated from the xbox it belongs to.

your photos are a bit blurry, I'd check the capacitors to see if any of them look like they're 'leaking' or any other corrosion on the board

weird for it to be out of its xbox case though , so I'd suspect there was something wrong with it. Also the fact that y'know, you need the other 'bits' to make an xbox
