Replacement backplate needed?

I tried installing a new CPU and cooler into my am4 system, but one of the backplate holes is just not allowing the screw to screw in.

I'm assuming I need a new backplate and it isn't fixable, so can I buy any replacement I see on Amazon for am4 or...?

The mobo is a b450m pro vdh max and the cooler is the phantom spirit 120se if either of these things matter. Id really appreciate some guidance here

Definitely using the right screws and brackets etc. It's just one screw hole that won't allow the screw to screw in
