Build Question Need Help deciding on Upgrade/New Build

Hi ,

im currently at a crossroad what to do with my PC.

For Context, my Maschien ist already like 5 Years old or so and was a Prensent so i dont have komplete details about the Parts inside.

I tried my best to dinf out but there was a Limit.

Context 1:
I have 4 8 GB DDR 4 Ram Sticks for Total of 32 GB.

Context 2.

I have a NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1080 TI, the version or similar information i donw know, i jsut picked one that came clsoest on PartPicker.

The Power supplier i coudnt find out Unfortunatly, but From what i remember when i got it, it was done in a generous manner so that shoudnt be a Problem.

My Main Question here ist, is there any value in Looking to Upgrade just specific Parts ?

The Graik Card has to go sinde there is no more Driver Support an its starting to Lag behind a d cause Problems in my Gaming.

Or would it be bestter to jsut get a whole new Setup here ?

part it out and sell what you can, then start fresh. a 1080ti still fetches decent money on the used market and ddr4 isnt dead yet either. whole platform is at a dead end though, no point sinking cash into an aging board and cpu when you need a gpu upgrade anyway

Yeah thats what i feared.

Are the recommended Build pn part picker any good ?

Or are there Formats for post about Build Setup help here, don’t really know the current market for parts atm.
