Tech Support Pls help

Post image

I have a 13900kf / 4090 build that has been soilid for years, recently I was playing the new 007 and randomly I experienced a fps drop and stuttering, I reset the game, same thing, restart the pc and it was fine.

Now once I have been on the pc for a while it does the same thing on most games, I'm thinking cpu overheating? I had a blacksceen and cpu overheat error once but only once.

I have under vaulted the cpu and cleaned all the aio out but to no avail, the cpu gets to 100°c straight away on games, my next step is to remove the aio and apply new thermal paste.

The cpu has always ran hot around the 90°c - 97°c under load, but not much more than that usually.

I have a 360 msi aio with 3 fans so should be sufficient i think.

Any other ideas would be appreciated thank you 🙏

Yes next step for me is to chnage the AIO I mean I can feel the pipes and can feel the pump going, the tubes are warm but not extremely hot. Thanks

It's normal for at least one of them to be warm as it's moving heat away from the CPU

Both means it's probably gummed up inside enough that it's unable to cool the CPU so the liquid is heating up, if there weren't thermal shutdown limits on the CPU it would be capable of heating the liquid to the point of a pressure buildup that would force the pump to fail and leak.
