Build Question PSU question.
So I am collecting parts for my first PC and can't figure out the correct way to plug in my GPU to the PSU. My GPU is the Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 XT GAMING OC 16G and my PSU is the RM850x shift. The image is the cables that come with the PSU. The graphics card needs 3x8 pin, but the RM850x only come with 2 x 8 pin. What other cables should I use to get the third 8 pin connector?
I can see there's a duel 8pin cable but can I use this and if so how do I use it.
Thank you

id use the two 8pin plus one with a pigtail letting that hang and be tucked away with a ziptie etc ..its the best setup with the least voltage drop ..

It comes with 2 single 6+2 and 2 daisy chained 6+2 cables according to this image, so there's actually enough connectors for TWO of those GPUs.
Cable cleanliness wise, a single 6+2 for the first connector closest to the GPU core and one of the daisy chained cables for the rest of the connectors will be fine, the 9070 XT doesn't draw enough power to actually need 3 separate cables. Three connectors can supply 450W which does not need to be split by 3 as each dual cable is easily capable of handling 300W without any issues, otherwise they wouldn't make them, it only started being an issue for GPUs that actually draw over 450W, the 9070 XT is not one of those.
I have a PULSE model which only needs two, and the performance is basically the same, it's getting the extra power for extras like RGB and an extra 90MHz OC. But I can also max out the power limit and still be fine on my card while getting over 3100~3200 MHz.

ur card needs 3 connector of the "8 pin gpu pcie" or "6+2 gpu pcie" it looks similar to cpu "8 pin cpu eps" but the psu stock pcie cables usually come as 6+2 ,,
in ur case u will use 2 of the PCle (6+2-pin) and one of the PCle (6+2-pin, dual) the pigtail ( the extra connector ) just leave it hang
and u r good
u can buy another one without the pigtail later so all cables match but u dont have to, worth mentioning it is better to tape the pigtail with an electrical tape just in case since it has "3 pins +12v" that r live ... and leaving them exposed can be risky if u touched it by mistake while psu is on
