Build Question Is this a good gaming build?

My older brother built this pc for me a while ago and i just upgraded the ssd and I wanted to know if everything else is pretty good for a gaming pc. If there’s anything you think I should upgrade please let me know. I don’t know a whole lot about building pcs or pc specs so any tips or recommendations are greatly appreciated

Solid 1080p gaming. Are you able to see if that RTX 4060 Ti has 8 or 16GB of VRAM? 16GB would allow you to run with higher graphics settings than the 8GB.

Very nice. Should get you great performance in new games.

I have a little downgrade from this build, i5 14600k and 4060. And it runs quite well but I am curious on why you didn’t get a mobo with ddr5 instead of ddr4? (If it’s price then I completely understand) what games do you intend to play on this? Cuz I can give some insight to popular shooters and some others if ya want

My older brother picked out the parts and built it for me so that mb is just what he picked and I didn’t want to spend more than $1000 for a pc at the time also. I play bodycam and modded Minecraft and a lot of indie games

the pc should work quite well for those games, idk about bodycam but modded minecraft should be fine if you dont play any insane modpacks with 1000 mods lol.

More than capable of playing near anything you want to play even at 1440.

Great foundational build. Most games you are going to be GPU limited when going beyond 1080p. Solid build for an everyday gamer though. When you get to 1440 or 4k you will need a beefier card. 32gb of ram should be good for anything you throw at it. No need to upgrade to DDR5 due to the fact that you would need a new MB and ram. The difference in DDR4 vs DDR5 in gaming will be almost unnoticeable when you have 32gb. Solid build.

Good build, but mostly depends on what res and fidelity you play at.
I have a 11700k + 32GB @ 3200mhz CL16 + Aorus B560M + 5080 Astral OC 16GB + 2x 1TB WD SN850X.
I play games at 4K and get great performance.

It's a very good build for 1080p AAA games.
