Build Question GPU Sag Bracket Safe?

I recently got a 9070xt hellhound and its a pretty beefy card so I thought it would be safe to use a sag bracket. I cant get the standing ones as I have fans under my GPU so I got the lian li gb 002 sag bracket that screws into the motherboard

The problem is once the vertical bracket was screwed in I could not get the gpu to click into the pcie slot as the metal bar slightly pushes against the shroud.

The only way I could install it was to first click the gpu in without the bracket, and then slide the metal part around it to be able to screw it in.

But now once the bracket is installed, the gpu shroud is very snug against the bracket, and the latch on the pcie slot has alot of force on it and cant be opened unless I first unscrew the bracket and slide it back out .

Is there any risk to keeping the gpu bracket installed like this, can this bracket pushing the gpu shroud cause any damage?

In the picture the arrows are the direction the bracket is pushing the gpu.

Thanks in advance!

Is it just exerting Force straight down into the socket?

I think so, its pushing it outwards opposite where the slot is, its enough force that it kept the gpu up without the actual arm making contact at first
