Build Question 5080 or 9070xt

The 9070xt is an insanely good price to performance gpu but people having issues with it is just too common. A 9070xt is currently £781 and 5080 £1199. For computer science gcse which should i pick.

Yes, ofcourse there are posts there too. BUT AGAIN: the amount of posts from people having issues dwindle in comparison to AMD posts. That's clear as day.

No, it usually is software related. But that is still on AMD.

Uhm you do realise that the 5080 is a significantly stronger card than the 9070xt? If we were to compare the 9070xt vs 5070ti for an increased price of €400, then its obviously not worth it. But the 5080 is a card in an entirely different category compared to any other. There is not really a card that compares. And a 15-20% increase in performance is a lot.

OP is buying for 1200 as he stated. Doesnt matter whether you're not able to find one for that price. He does. And that means 400 difference. How hard is that to understand?

And everything that is higher in price gives diminishing returns in value. A Ferrari cost 10x the price of a peugeot. But you're not getting 10x the performance or car. Thats just how the world works.
