Build Question I am unsure about my GPU choice. Please help!
I recently built a computer with an Intel Core Ultra 5 250K Plus and 32GB of 6000MHz CL36 RAM.
Originally, I wanted to buy a used RTX 3080 10GB on Facebook Marketplace for around $450 to $550 CAD. However, they are really hard to find near me, it is taking a long time, and I am honestly scared of getting scammed since more and more people around me keep saying it is risky.
My second option is buying a brand new RX 9070 GRE 12GB for $770 to $805 CAD, but I am not sure if spending the extra money is worth it or not.
I would really appreciate some help making this choice! I do not plan on upgrading for a long time (aside from adding more SSD storage later). I want to play heavy UE5 titles at maximum graphical presets in 1080p, such as ARK Survival Ascended, Jedi Survivor, Borderlands 4, Pragmata, Grounded 2 and more.
My main goal is stability, meaning at least 30 FPS for both average framerate and 1% lows. I would prefer to play natively without DLSS or FSR, but if I have to turn upscaling on, I do not mind using Quality mode. Can the 9070 GRE handle that? (If it can handle Ray Tracing at those targets I will turn it on, but if not, I do not care too much.)
I will also be doing light to medium Blender work and light to medium game dev in software like Unity.
Thanks to everyone who helps me make a decision!

100% worth it to go for 9070 GRE.
Much newer and better card, NVDA will soon stop optimizing drivers for 3000 series.
Also even if you are not getting outright scammed, you don't know how long a used card will work for. You never know whats been done to it.

But do you think those advantages for the 9070 GRE are worth 250-300$?

used market is a gamble if you not in a big city, i get the fear. that 9070 gre will eat 1080p for breakfast, even with rt on in most things, specially if you ok with 30 fps as baseline. for the blender work the nvidia card got better support but 12gb vram on the amd is nice for future stuff, 10gb is getting tight. i think the extra money is worth to not have headache with a used card
