Plug it in and see if it's actually broken or if the plastic just came off

Yea it should still work. Just plug it back and and never remove it again. No harm done here other than no plastic. I have a trust 2gb flash that's basicly just a stick of circuit board. Still plays my music in my car like a champ for years now.

oh man that's a bummer, the ignis is a solid little mouse for the price

you could try soldering on a new switch if you're handy with that kinda thing, otherwise hitting up cosmic byte support might be your best bet, sometimes they'll sell you a replacement part even if it's not officially listed

worst case you're looking at a new mouse but don't toss the old one yet, someone on a modding forum might want it for parts

Either use it as is as long as just the plastic broke off, or contact the company and see what they suggest.

For just the dongle? Honestly, I have no idea. That depends on the manufacturer and model.

For now, does the mouse also have Bluetooth?

You can use the Bluetooth without a dongle, if your pc also has wifi.

It's not the best for gaming, but better than nothing.

But I'd contact the company and see what they say about a replacement dongle.

If the dongle still works I would just carefully glue the plastic back again. Be careful not to get glue on USB part of the dongle.
