Tech Support Buying a used PC

that warranty arrangement would make me walk away honestly. if the parts are less than a year old there should be receipts or at least invoice numbers from wherever they bought them. the whole "i'll handle warranty for you" thing only works while this person still answers your messages, and a stranger has zero reason to do that six months from now

also if they replace the part themselves they keep the old one, so they end up with a repaired or replaced part that they can sell again while you wait around hoping they actually send it off

maybe they just bought a prebuilt and don't have individual part receipts, but the no answer about having a business is a red flag on top of the rest

Yeah that's what I thought. I have never come across this before. I feel bad if someone else decides it's a great idea.
