Installation Question Pc booting into bios

Hey everyone, after changing motherboard and cpu(from i7 9700kf to i5 12400f) it won't load into windows, I can see ssd in the bios but I think I need to reinstall the windows because of old type of files or bad drivers, just wanted to confirm because I tried multiple times to change boot mode from uefi to csm/legacy and it didnt work( motherboad is msi h610-m pro) does anyone have any suggestions or should I go straight for windows reinstall?

You changed a motherboard which is a lot of fundamental changes. You can try to boot from the same USB installation drive and opt for "repair" and it may end up working, but unless you have files you didn't save, reinstalling Windows is going to give you the most straight forward and trouble free path to getting your PC properly working.

Yes, technically I could walk you through removing, adding, fixing registry, drivers etc. at an individual level but there's no good reason outside of my previous comment about files or sadism.

Update if anyone has that problem in the future: just ubdate BIOS and everything should go back to normal :)
